The room is small and unfussy, set up for a considered espresso rather than a sprawling menu, and the operation doubles as a coffee cart and machine-servicing business for the district. In a university town well stocked with cafes, it remains the reference point for locally roasted coffee, drawing a steady trade of students, academics and travellers breaking the Sydney-Brisbane drive.
