First Batch Coffee Roasters

First Batch is the Noosaville specialty coffee roastery Brent Deller opened in 2015, working out of a warehouse on Venture Drive surrounded by Sunshine Coast breweries and distilleries. The set-up runs three functions from one site — a roastery using a Chinook fluid bed air system (logged and traceable per-roast for profile consistency), an espresso bar at the front pouring blends, single origins and filter brews via V60, Aeropress and cold brew, and the Coffee Training Company, a Cert IV barista training school that operates from the back of the building. Beans go out to Sunshine Coast cafes wholesale and nationally by subscription. Croissants, morning buns, and hot breakfast brioche rolls at the front cabinet. Open Monday to Friday from 5:30am.
